Did someone say sunglasses?
They are our all-time favourite accessory and we have to mention our favourite sunglasses brand at the moment.
Well known in Europe, DE-SUNGLASSES caught our eye with their NEON COLLECTION and to be honest, we can now call them ‘evolutionary’ in the sunglasses market.
We got in touch with the owners of the brand and managed to solve some of our questions about the brand. What makes them so special?
Q: Who are you and how did you came up with the idea?
A: We are a couple passionate about sunglasses! We are not pushing through situations, success came on its own when we came up with the idea of our own brand. I guess it all started from our love about eyewear industry!
Q: How about competition these days? You sell your products via your e-commerce store, right?
A: Competition is a big chapter on the e-commerce business. However, we are so focused to our goal and our own brand, that we are not affected by this. Everyone can sell their products, but our know-how is the weapon of our success.
We sell our products mainly online but we also supply many stores around the world. Our aim is to expand beyond Europe, even though we already have stores in the African continent.
Q: Do you want to talk about the production of your sunglasses? Is it an easy process?
A: Of course! This is our favorite part to talk about. Making glasses is a wonderful process. When we started the brand back in 2016, we got ready-made eyewear designs since we didn't have the know-how to make the glasses from scratch.
But is there anything better than personal and professional development? We contacted factories that could implement our own glasses designs. Every beginning is difficult, but I mean look at us now...
We design sunglasses based on trends and bring them to life using the best materials. DE-SUNGLASSES is our first and last thought every day! Today, we have our own production facility in a well-known factory.
Q: And what about prices? You generally keep prices low, can you explain the reason why?
A: Yes we do keep our prices low. People buy a lot of glasses so they can combine them with their outfit of the day and we could not agree more!
One pair of sunglasses is never enough, and of course, you do not want to be outdated. Fashion trends are running fast.
